The pair booked a fairy tale venue
The ceremony took place on March 31 at the Aston House at the Grand Walkerhill Hotel in Seoul, under tight security and Covid-19 safety protocols. It is known as a luxurious venue for weddings, surrounded by nature with sweeping views of Mount Acha and the Han River.
According to News Delivers, the cost of renting the venue can reach up to US$600 per guest and US$190,000 for the rental of wedding essentials. Korean celebrity couples Ji Sung and Lee Bo-young, and Bae Yong-joon and Park Soo-jin, have also chosen the same venue for their wedding.
The delectable menu
Of course, guests were treated to a sumptuous feast. The Manila Bulletin obtained a photo of the menu, revealing the key dishes that had been served, including Osetra caviar, grilled lobster, sous vide seafood, Hampyeong grilled Korean beef tenderloin with truffle mashed potatoes and herb-grilled vegetables, Guryongpo Haepung noodles and honeymoon honey cake and more.
Celebrity singers played as she walked down the aisle
Known for her impeccable taste, Son is said to have walked down the aisle to the song Can’t Help Falling in Love, while Moon River was used during the rehearsal.
The couple was also serenaded by K-pop stars including Gummy, who sang IU’s I Give You My Heart, a song from Crash Landing on You, while Kim Bum-soo sang a song from Secret Garden, one of Hyun Bin’s hit dramas. Paul Kim sang a congratulatory song.
