They may be sister-in-laws now, but before Mehta married into the Ambani family, she and Isha Ambani were best friends, even referring to each other as sisters. Vogue reported that Isha was once in the same school class as Mehta’s sister Diya. She then later skipped a year, joining the same class as Mehta. According to Vogue, Isha said, “I’ve been like a third sister to them,” adding that it was as if Mehta was always part of her family.
