Blackpink’s Jennie makes headlines for pretty much everything – from what she wears and where she goes, to who she meets. This time, the popular lead vocalist has got the internet buzzing once again because of rumours that she is dating BTS’ V, after they were possibly spotted on a recent holiday on Jeju Island.

The caption of the image was translated by Koreaboo: “This is a photo that was sent in today. It might be that they’re lookalikes, but it is allegedly a photo of two top idols. The female idol, in particular, has been rumoured to have broken up with an OG idol member. So fans seem to be more receptive to this photo as true.”
But some ARMYs and Blinks – BTS and Blackpink fans, respectively – have dismissed such assumptions, pointing out that Jennie’s hair is now dyed orange, unlike the woman in the photo, and that the sunglasses are from a popular brand that many others could also own.
While the online debates rage on, YG Entertainment responded promptly to media outlet Chosun saying, “We have nothing to say. We will inform you if we have a different response to share.”

As the other members only follow each other and the official BTS Instagram account, people were quick to notice the difference in V’s following list. Also, as Jennie and V both have set their Instagram page bios with their initials “J” and “V”, people are wondering if it’s a couple matching move.

But, based on their Instagrams, the star couple could possibly have moved on from each other. Fans have noticed that G-Dragon unfollowed Jennie’s main and secondary accounts, @jennierubyjane and @lesyeuxdenini, on his private account @peaceminusone. However, his account still follows the rest of the Blackpink members, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé.
