This skin-coloured crepe gown was worn by Marilyn Monroe during filming of the 1954 musical, There’s No Business Like Show Business. Adorned with bugle beads, diamantes and sequins, the dress is expected to fetch up to US$100,000 at auction.
This is not the first time Julien’s has auctioned items from Monroe’s wardrobe – the dress Kim Kardashian recently wore to the Met Gala was sold by the house for US$4.8 million back in 2016, making it the most expensive dress ever sold at auction.

According to The Guardian, the Jean Louis gown was so tight-fitting, Monroe had to be sewn into it ahead of her famous President John F. Kennedy birthday performance.
Audrey Hepburn’s two-piece Givenchy outfit from Breakfast at Tiffany’s

The famous little black dress worn by Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961) was the work of Hubert de Givenchy, but it wasn’t the only piece the acclaimed designer created for the film. Hepburn wore a two-piece ensemble in scenes with George Peppard including the pair’s timeless visit to Tiffany & Co.
Hepburn was clearly a fan of the ensemble, as she was reportedly seen wearing it in Rome after filming wrapped. The outfit has an estimated value of between US$40,000 and US$60,000.
