Who’s the richest Presley? Elvis and family’s net worths, ranked: from Priscilla’s Graceland millions and Lisa-Marie’s tax debts, to Caitlyn Jenner’s ex Linda Thompson and final fiancée Ginger Alden
The highly anticipated Elvis biopic film by Baz Luhrmann is finally in cinemas, and we’ll confess – our Spotify playlist has been littered with classics from the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll in recent weeks.
Here’s how rich the Presley family members are in 2022 … and it turns out Elvis’s bank account is far from dead.
Who is the richest woman in the world right now? (No, it’s not Kim K)
Elvis Presley, 1935-1977
Estate estimated net worth: US$400-500 million
Estimated net worth at time of his death: US$20 million (technically his net worth was US$5 million at the time, before inflation adjustment)
However, the King’s image has made a lot more money after his death. In the early 1980s, his ex-wife Priscilla took control of his estate and opened Graceland to the public in 1982. It went on to draw 700,000 attendees a year, according to Rolling Stone, and by the end of the decade, the Presley estate was raking in an impressive US$15 million annually.
Thanks to ongoing merchandise and branding sales, Rolling Stone estimated his estate’s net worth to be between US$400-500 million in 2020.

Priscilla Presley, 77 – estimated net worth: US$50 million
During the peak of her fame, she starred in the iconic Dallas TV series and the The Naked Gun franchise.
Priscilla also founded Elvis Presley Enterprises in 1979 and served as its chairwoman and president for years, raking in an estimated net worth of US$50 million over the years, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Linda Thompson, 72 – estimated net worth: US$25 million
In a weird, twisted Hollywood way, even the Kardashians are linked to Elvis. Case in point: Linda Thompson.
The former actress and songwriter was previously married to Caitlyn Jenner in the 1980s, before Kris and co came into the picture. Before that, she was in a serious relationship with the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll between 1972 and 1976, and the couple even lived together at his Graceland mansion. Linda was Elvis’ first big relationship after his split from Priscilla. She later revealed they broke up because she was seeking a more “normal life”. However, they remained close until his death shortly afterwards in 1977.
She’s also a huge name in the music industry, having written songs for the likes of Josh Groban, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston and the Backstreet Boys.

Riley Keough, 33 – estimated net worth: US$5 million
Riley had a brother, Benjamin, from Lisa Marie’s marriage to musician Danny Keough. He died by suicide in 2020.
Ginger Alden, 65 – estimated net worth: unknown, but speculated to be between US$500,000 and US$5 million
Born in 1956, actress and model Ginger first met Elvis when she was five years old, and many years later she ended up as his fiancée during the final days of his life. So while she never officially became a Presley, she was certainly set to.
Elvis proposed to Ginger in January 1977 at Graceland, and the two set a wedding date for December. Sadly she never made it to the altar, because Elvis died unexpectedly in August that year.
Alden, now 65, wrote a book about her time with Elvis in a 2014 memoir titled Elvis & Ginger.
Navarone Garibaldi, 35 – estimated net worth: US$500,000
Did you know Lisa Marie has a stepbrother? Meet Elvis’ “stepson” Navarone – Priscilla’s only child with businessman Marco Garibaldi.
The 25-year-old is the frontman of Los Angeles-based rock band Them Guns, and got married to Elisa Achilli in Switzerland in February. He’s believed to be worth half a million dollars.
Lisa Marie Presley, 54 – estimated net worth: -US$16 million
Yep, that’s minus 16 million, unfortunately for Elvis’ only child, Lisa Marie.
The massive debt is down to various financial problems related to the Elvis Presley estate, which Lisa Marie inherited when she turned 25. At the time it was reported to be worth US$100 million, but instead of inheriting the money directly, she invested in a revocable living trust and appointed Barry Seigel to manage the estate.
By 2015, the money dried up and she fired Barry Siegel. She later filed a lawsuit against her former business manager for allegedly squandering US$100 million of her money and leaving her broke. In 2018, court documents from her divorce proceedings with Michael Lockwood revealed that she was US$16 million in debt, mainly consisting of unpaid taxes, legal bills and credit card debts.
