She’s the only daughter of Simon Yam and Qi Qi
Ella’s parents – Simon, 67, and Qi Qi, 54 – got married in 1997, and the two had Ella in 2004. Ella has followed her supermodel mum and film legend dad to many big events since she was young, and the happy family has often been spotted travelling together around the world.
For Simon Yam’s birthday this year, Ella posted pictures of the father-daughter duo on Instagram, saying “happy birthday to my best friend, you inspire me more and more every day. I love you dad.” Aww.
