Who’s the richest Wooga Squad member? Net worths, ranked: BTS’ V, Park Seo-joon, Park Hyung-sik, Choi Woo-shik and Peakboy are set to star in Disney+’s In the Soop, but who has the most millions?

It turns out Korean variety show In the Soop isn’t just for artists signed to Hybe Entertainment – BTS and Seventeen have already been on – because the Wooga Squad – made up of BTS’ V, Park Seo-joon, Choi Woo-shik, Park Hyung-sik and Peakboy – are next to be featured.

As we get excited for the show’s arrival on Disney+ on July 22, we take a look at the members’ net worths to discover who is the richest.

1. Park Seo-joon, 33 – US$21 million

Park Seo-joon is already a familiar face for K-drama fans as his notable works include Itaewon Class and What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?. He also made a brief appearance in the award-winning movie, Parasite. While CNA Luxury reports the actor has a net worth of US$21 million, the figure is expected to rise as he’s also been cast to act alongside Brie Larson in the MCU’s upcoming film, The Marvels.

Park also has an impressive property portfolio according to CNA Luxury, with a US$10 million building in Gangnam’s Sinsa-dong district as well as his US$4.4 million Cheongdam-dong district abode.

2. BTS’ V, 26 – US$20 million

Being a member of the world’s biggest K-pop group allowed BTS’ V to rack up his current fortune of US$20 million according to Celebrity Net Worth. The figure is not surprising considering how active he is as an idol.

He’s done numerous endorsements alongside his bandmates for brands like Louis Vuitton over the years, and is involved in original soundtracks for K-dramas as well as acting – though he’s only ever starred on-screen a couple of times, in Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth back in 2016, and briefly in 7 Fates: Chakho. According to One Mega Group’s Lifestyle Asia, V also owns a US$4.55 million property in Gangnam.

3. Choi Woo-shik, 32 – US$5 million

Best known for his roles in Train to Busan and Parasite, South Korean-Canadian actor Choi Woo-shik has accumulated a net worth of US$5 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. While most of his income comes from his acting career, he’s also done various endorsements for well-known brands like Coca-Cola. Plus, he’s also appeared in many K-pop idols’ music videos, including IU’s My Old Story and Day6’s Congratulations and You Were Beautiful.

4. Peakboy, 33 – US$4-US$5 million

According to reports, Peakboy once dreamed of becoming an idol, but he decided that he was better off as a composer and rapper. The switch proved successful as he managed to make his name in the music industry by releasing hit songs like Walk, Kelly and The Same. What’s more, he also produced music for Show Me the Money’s season five, per Korean website Naver. Other than music compositions, Hollywood Zam predicts that a chunk of his income is also derived from his social media and YouTube channels.

K-pop-idol-turned-actor Park Hyung-sik already had a decent start in life thanks to his father being on the board of directors at BMW in Korea, according to K-drama Stars.

Yet, in following his passion for the entertainment industry, Park managed to make a name for himself as both an idol and an actor. His hard work has apparently paid off, with him stacking up an estimated net worth of US$4 million according to K-drama Stars.
