  • Prince Louis, four, is the youngest son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, but he’s already shown rebellious characteristics … possibly inherited from Princess Diana?
  • He missed Queen Elizabeth’s recent funeral, which set off a bunch of playful memes about his mischief, but let’s not forget his Buckingham Palace tantrum or fun with Meghan Markle …

He may be fourth in line to the throne, but Prince Louis, four, is already first in our hearts. The little royal – the youngest child of Kate Middleton and Prince William – has proven himself to be quite a character ever since he made his first public appearance in 2019.

Whether he’s pulling faces, screaming in delight, having a meltdown in the Royal Box at the Jubilee Pageant, or just generally being a handful for his put-upon parents, little Louis seems to have a knack for breaking with convention and marching to his own beat.

In fact, there’s more than a slight similarity to other monarchical mischief-makers who have come before Louis – most notably his uncle, Prince Harry, and the ultimate royal rule-breaker, Harry’s mum and Louis’ departed grandmother, Princess Diana.
