On RHOBH season 12, Lisa Rinna accused Kathy Hilton of being ‘jealous of the Kardashians’ after she bought Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila – does she have anything to be jealous of?

Fans of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills went wild on social media after Lisa Rinna, 59, accused Kathy Hilton, 63 – the show’s new fan-favourite – of being jealous of the Kardashian-Jenner family.

The former soap star made the comment on the 20th episode of RHOBH season 12, after she realised that Hilton was offended when she ordered Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila and not her Casa Del Sol during their trip to an Aspen bar in previous episodes. In true Bravo fashion, fans have quickly dubbed their drama as “tequila-gate”.

The episode, which aired on September 28, ended with escalated tensions between the two housewives after Rinna refused Kathy Hilton’s apologies and continued to “stir the pot” for more cheap drama and tiresome tirades.

RHOBH fans quickly rallied behind Hilton on Twitter and dismissed Rinna’s accusation as nonsensical.

“Let’s not forget, it was Paris Hilton, Kathy’s daughter, that put Kim K on the map,” one user wrote, reminding everyone that Kim Kardashian first worked as Paris Hilton’s assistant during her heyday.

Another fan attacked Rinna’s behaviour: “Here’s what I wish Kathy Hilton understood. Never apologise to Lisa Rinna. She will twist your words, make herself the martyr, absolve herself of all accountabilities, and exploit your apology as a form of weakness and make you a bad person.”
