Fendi Fendi is one of Wang’s favourite labels that he can often be spotted wearing. But the Chinese singer grabbed the brand’s attention when he dropped a single called “Fendiman” in 2018. The song even topped two iTunes categories and became No 1 in the US, per WWD. He also performed the song at the label’s FF Reloaded event in Shanghai the same year. The Italian brand made its relationship with Wang official in 2019 by appointing him as the new face of Fendi in China, per Time International. The brand said: “Unique, talented, daring to innovate and breakthrough, Jackson Wang is perfectly connected to Fendi’s spirit and more projects involving him and the maison are yet to come.” He also collaborated with the brand by designing his own collection – which instantly sold out when Fendi released it in China, per Time International. The idol shared his gratitude on the same platform by writing in English, “Always blessed” and “I’m always grateful” in Korean. He was an ambassador for Adidas and, along with his Got7 members , had been collaborating with the brand since 2018. But their relationship came to an end in 2021 after the famous sports label claimed it wouldn’t be using Xinjiang cotton due to the alleged use of forced labour in the region to harvest it, per Allkpop. Wang cancelled his endorsement of Adidas in response. His agency announced on Weibo, “From today forward, this agency and Mr. Jackson Wang will cease all work with the brand Adidas Originals. The country’s interests are above everything else, and the studio and Mr. Jackson Wang are strictly against all malicious acts that defame and slander China,” states the article. Ray-Ban With clothes, jewellery and perfume on his list, the next brand to appoint him as global ambassador was the beloved Ray-Ban sunglasses. Ray-Ban launched a global campaign in 2019 called #ProudToBelong, which was a celebration of emotions such as vulnerability and empathy, passion and Joy, and confidence and pride. “I am very proud to partner Ray-Ban, a brand that never conforms to so-called fashion trends but has been pioneering with counterculture stylishness and technical innovation,” said Wang, per Tough Asia.
