We’re only days away from the NFL Super Bowl LVII, one of the world’s most-watched sporting events annually. Whether you’re waiting for Rihanna’s halftime show (it will be her first public performance in years) or the epic match-up between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs, this event is not one to miss. While we await which athletes get to hold up the Lombardi trophy and declare themselves Super Bowl champions, we rounded up our own list of winners – for best-dressed NFL stars, that is. Here are the players that made our top five: 1. Joe Burrow Cincinnati Bengals’ Joe Burrow is one of the most-talked about players of the NFL for good reason. Not only did the 26-year-old quarterback win the Heisman trophy and lead the Bengals to their first Super Bowl appearance in 33 years, he is also popular among fans for his unique style. Burrow’s reputation as a fashion icon was solidified when he made a pair of Cartier sunglasses popular in the US. Cincinnati Enquirer reported Bengals cornerback Chidobe Awuzie recalls going on a shopping trip with Burrow to Cartier in Las Vegas, where the saleslady recommended a pair of sunglasses which “this guy Joe Burrow made very popular”, not realising that she was speaking to Burrow himself. What it really takes to join the world’s most exclusive private members’ clubs Burrow’s diamond-encrusted “JB9” chain (which stands for his initials and jersey number) also became a signature item for the star, leading GQ Magazine to call him “Iced-Out Joe Brrr”. 2. Tom Brady Often referred to as the GOAT or “greatest of all time” of the NFL, Tom Brady is also considered one of the league’s best-dressers – no doubt the influence of his ex-wife, supermodel Gisele Bündchen. The pair often appeared at the Met Gala together, with Brady wearing suits by Tom Ford or Versace. Brady even launched his own eponymous athleisure brand, Brady, in 2021. The seven-time Super Bowl champion is sure to get busier with his clothing brand in the coming years, as the 45-year-old recently announced that he would be retiring from the NFL “for good”, per The Guardian. 3. Travis Kelce Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs is headed to this year’s Super Bowl, and fans are eager to see what he’ll wear to the stadium. The Chiefs’ tight end is known for arriving at stadiums decked in designer pieces like a Louis Vuitton tracksuit, a Dior matching silk shirt and shorts set or a Celine tiger-print coat. Like Brady, Kelce started his own athleisure company called Tru Kolors, with products inspired by vintage 90s sports gear. Forbes reported that the 33-year-old is a very hands-on owner, and even examines fabric samples, colour swatches, design renderings and the stitching of his products. A GQ Sports video revealed that Miller’s wardrobe is 2,000 sq ft, and holds around 12,000 pieces of clothing, accessories and shoes. The 33-year-old’s unique collection includes embroidered suits by Union Western, vintage Selena and Pink Floyd band shirts and even Stetson cowboy hats. In October 2022, Miller made news for arriving at a game in a metallic silver tracksuit. He later revealed to an ESPN reporter that it was an Adidas x Ivy Park outfit personally gifted to him by Beyoncé – the tracksuit was sent to him with a handwritten note from the pop star. 5. Odell Beckham Jr. Last on this list is former Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr, who is known for his keen sense of style. He often mixes luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Prada with smaller brands like Earthling VIP and Proleta Re Art. Even his football cleats are stylish: he once wore diamond-studded cleats worth US$200,000 to warm up for the Super Bowl, per Bleacher Report.
