Shine bright like a diamond: Rihanna’s best blinging moments, from her Jacob & Co. Super Bowl watch to Cartier jewels at the Golden Globes with A$AP Rocky and a Bulgari necklace at the Met Gala

- The ‘We Found Love’ songstress is known for owning the stage with her luxurious jewellery picks, most memorably with a Messika belly chain maternity look at a Fenty event
- That pope-like Cartier crucifix caused controversy at the 2018 Met Gala, and RiRi’s high jewellery sure turned heads at her 2015 Diamond Ball – in front of Will Smith, Zendaya and Kylie Jenner
Rihanna shines bright like a diamond wherever she goes – but adding a bit of bijouterie to her outfits certainly helps.

Whilst the beloved Barbadian singer’s recent return to the stage at the Super Bowl halftime show wasn’t as well received as many were hoping it to be (with a recent report logging 103 pages of complaints!), there was one thing we couldn’t help but gape at during her performance: her jaw-dropping choice of jewels.
RiRi went all out for her new baby bump reveal (and stage comeback), lighting up the stage in over a million dollars worth of bling. It’s certainly not the first time the pop icon has opted for lavish accessories though. Here are the billionaire’s blingiest moments yet:
1. Glitzy Jacob & Co. watch with a US$1 million ring for her Super Bowl comeback

Not only did Rihanna sport a US$72,000 diamond- and ruby-encrusted Jacob & Co. watch on the Super Bowl half-time stage – the songstress also outdid herself by adding on more than US$1 million worth of bling, during her set last month, which attracted more than 118 million viewers.
Her Bayco ring featured 5.66 carats of trillion-cut and round brilliant diamonds, set in platinum with a 19.47-carat Burma ruby that put the bauble at a whopping million-dollar price tag. The piece stirred controversy however, as the ruby was sourced from Myanmar, which is known for providing profits from its rare gemstones trade to fund the government’s ruling military junta. She has yet to comment on the backlash.
