Selena Gomez and Nicola Peltz really are Hollywood’s new proud BFFs.
Despite meeting in passing several years ago, per British media, it wasn’t until they bumped into each other again at last year’s Academy Museum Gala that they became inseparable. Since then they’ve documented their sweet friendship in a series of snaps on Instagram, where they’re so close they’re often pictured hugging, holding hands or in sleepwear together.
“We just clicked and had the best time,” Peltz recently shared in an interview with Cosmopolitan UK. “I feel like she’s my soul sister. I love her so much. She’s truly one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met in my whole life. The kindest person ever. Truly, her heart is gold. I feel like I’ve known her forever.”

Silky pink pyjamas for a girls’ night in
Their first post as besties appeared last November on Peltz’s Instagram, showing the two cuddling on the sofa under the same blanket for a girls’ night. They both wore baby-pink satin pyjamas with fanciful ruffled trim at the straps and trouser leg from For Love & Lemons. They were celebrating the release of Gomez’s documentary My Mind & Me as Peltz wrote: “Girls’ night celebrating your beautiful documentary. Congratulations Selena! (Thanks b for the best food everrrrr).”

Breezy white yachting outfits
After celebrating New Year’s, the duo embarked on a private yacht getaway with Brooklyn and some friends. Both girls chose white outfits to relax on the deck together. Gomez looks comfy in her cream-white baggy jumpsuit while Peltz opted for a cropped tank top and midi skirt that she paired with a white headband.
In another shot, Brooklyn also showed up in a white T-shirt to join them for a nap. “Fine calls us a throuple #foreverplusone,” Gomez joked.
Casual hang-outs in black
Both go for classic, sophisticated black for nights out. When they celebrated Peltz’s birthday early in a restaurant on January 8, the birthday girl dressed up in sleeveless black sheer gown with a flower tie on one shoulder while her pop star bestie wore a casual black jacket. The ladies also matched their buns and little hoop earrings while blowing each other a kiss.

Peltz went for a solid caramel-coloured hat while Gomez favoured green in the front of hers. They also matched in cosy black jumpers and, again, hoop earrings. “I love this girl so much @selenagomez angel sister,” Peltz wrote.
They even have matching arm tattoos reading “angel”! Peltz once shared a photo of them on her Instagram Stories.
