Born in Taiwan, Hsu attended Central Saint Martins art school in London. Before joining Mytheresa in 2017, she worked as a buyer at Lane Crawford in Hong Kong and in London for department store Selfridges.

A magnet for street-style photographers during fashion week, Hsu splits her time between Mytheresa’s headquarters in Munich, Germany, and her office in London, juggling a busy calendar of buying appointments, fashion shows and events.

We caught up with her to get her tips on fashion, food, TV shows, travel and more.

I recently watched The Glory, a Korean TV drama, as I love a good plot twist! Aside from that, I also saw a Metallica documentary which I really liked [Some Kind of Monster].

I am a long-time fan of Charlotte Taylor – @charlottetaylr. Her interior designs are just so dreamy and inspiring. They are also really calming and relaxing and I can go through them for hours, over and over again.

I also love how Gabbriette B [@gabbriette] combines cooking and fashion. I just love watching cooking videos and she is also incredibly cool.

4. Beauty: Skin Design London

I swear by Fatima’s facial treatments from Skin Design London – her Vitamin C Serum is a gem. U Beauty’s Super Hydrator for face and body is another favourite, along with its Plasma Lip Compound, which is just fantastic and keeps you dewy all over. Other essentials include Victoria Beckham Beauty’s Future Lash mascara, Hermès lipsticks and lymphatic massages.

5. Fashion: Bottega Veneta

My favourite designer brands change all the time but I love The Row, Bottega Veneta [shown], Chanel and Hermès when it comes to something timeless. Balenciaga is my go-to for statement pieces.

6. Home must-visits: London

I really enjoy the 180 Health Club. Alex Eagle has curated some of the best classes and treatments all in one space. I can spend all day here and it is just so relaxing and quiet. My facial go-to, Skin Design London, has a permanent space there and I get classes by Flatiron Pilates from New York whenever [founder] Amy Nelms visits. I also love the drip treatments and CBD massages. My favourite London restaurant probably is Din Tai Fung because I can get food from home there.

I’d love to go to Egypt because I loved Egyptian mythology as a child and it is one of the great wonders of the world. I just love how mysterious the desert and the pyramids are.
