Besides his musical skills though, he’s also turned heads for his unique fashion sense, donning different styles with ease depending on what the situation calls for.

Here, we take a closer look at five of the different fashion hats he wears.

1. As a Mirror member

Chan debuted as a member of Mirror, the city’s 12-piece sensation formed through ViuTV’s reality talent show the King Maker, in 2018, and was also among the earliest in the group to release solo projects.

When making public appearances with the band, he decks himself out in outfits that seamlessly blend in with the group while expressing his artistic vision. From a brightly hued track jacket with graffiti patches to a biker vest with avant-garde 3D detailing, he always knows how to make a lasting impression with his individuality.

2. As a solo singer-songwriter

Chan is a self-taught musician, a versatile singer-songwriter and a recent arranger who expresses great depth of emotions through his compositions. Despite being often seen huddled quietly in the studio in comfortable clothes, he commands an undeniable presence onstage and mesmerises audiences with his soulful tunes. His classic all-black outfits look effortlessly stylish on him – and, of course, his guitar only elevates his looks.

Thanks to his model-esque build and discerning fashion sense, Chan has become a sought-after ambassador for fashion and lifestyle brands. With his 181cm sculpted frame, per Elle HK, he effortlessly carried off Louis Vuitton’s loose-fit suit and black boots in one shoot, exuding both style and playfulness.

Formal wear aside, he also pulls off casual outfits with ease, sporting LV’s hoodie and denim jeans for a cool streetwear look. The youthful and casual vibe that perfectly complements Chan’s fashion sensibility is also reflected in his own clothing brand, IDPT.

4. As an athlete

Not only is Chan stylish and musically talented, he is also a natural athlete who excels in a variety of sports, including volleyball, basketball and taekwondo. According to HK01, he previously represented the Hong Kong men’s national volleyball team and the South China Athletic Association, which helped him land leading roles in his debut TV drama We are the Littles about volleyball, and more recently in Spark, a drama centred around ice hockey. His passion for athletics is matched by his intensity and focus, which gives him a magnetic presence both on and off the court as a competent sportsman – and style icon.
