Cheers! 20 celebrities who own alcohol brands – from Drake’s Virginia Black whiskey and Ryan Reynolds’ Aviation Gin to Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila, Snoop Dogg’s Cuca Fresca and Nick Jonas’ Villa One
STORYBusiness Insider

- Celebrity-owned alcohol brands are nothing new – in fact, stars like George Clooney, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Godfather filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola have been doing it for years
- Since 2020, a wealth of new A-listers have joined the bandwagon, from Post Malone’s French Riviera rosé and Cameron Diaz’s Avaline wines to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s Teremana Tequila
Many celebrities have created, collaborated with, or invested in wine labels and liquor brands. For example, George Clooney, Nick Jonas and Justin Timberlake are owners/partial owners of tequila labels, while actors Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston from Breaking Bad have their own mescal.

In February 2021, Jenner announced on Instagram that she’s launching a tequila brand called 818. It’s handcrafted in Jalisco, Mexico, and the model said she’s spent nearly four years working on it. Most of the bottles of it retail for over US$40.
2. Post Malone

Described as “very smooth”, Post Malone’s French Riviera rosé launched in summer 2020. The musician created it in partnership with James Morrissey, a long-time music manager and co-founder of London Entertainment.
The wine is described as having aromas of freshly picked fruit, like pear, pineapple and strawberry. A bottle retails for around US$22.
3. Shay Mitchell

Shay Mitchell is one of the people behind Onda, a line of canned sparkling tequila beverages that come in lime and grapefruit flavours. Each 340g (12-ounce) can is 100 calories and contains tequila from a woman-owned distillery in Mexico.
