Meet Kate Beckinsale’s lookalike daughter, Lily Mo Sheen: the actress’ dad is Michael Sheen, she’s worked with Nicolas Cage and played the younger version of her mum in Underworld: Revolution
Lily Mo Sheen, the daughter of English actress Kate Beckinsale and Welsh actor Michael Sheen, is growing up to look more and more like her famously stunning and talented mum.
At 24, she’s already starred in films alongside bigwigs like Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore, Robert De Niro and mum Beckinsale, of course, and is starting to appear at red carpets and exclusive events, seemingly following in the Hollywood footsteps of her parents.
Speaking to British media in January, Beckinsale addressed the physical resemblance between her and her daughter, adding jokingly, “Sometimes I’ll send her [Lily Mo] a text saying, ‘Get your own face!’” The 49-year-old emphasised that her daughter is the “better version” of herself and “looks like a gorgeous Disney animal”.
Lily Mo Sheen’s Hollywood parents – and grandparents
Considering her closest relatives are all in acting, it seems Lily Mo was destined for a path in showbiz. Besides her parents Kate, 49, and Michael, 54, (and Michael’s new partner Anna Lundberg, who’s a Swedish actress), Lily Mo’s maternal grandparents Judy Loe, 76, and Richard Beckinsale (1947-1979) also worked in the same industry.

She played younger versions of her mother twice
When Sheen was in her adolescence, she didn’t want to pursue acting just because her parents were doing it, she told W Magazine. Instead, she focused on writing until around age 15, when she started to get cast in Shakespeare productions at her school. Sheen went on to study the Meisner technique at New York University and began auditioning for roles. “My parents would be happy with me doing anything,” she said.
As a child, Sheen starred in films alongside her mother including Click (2006) and as the younger versions of Beckinsale in Underworld: Revolution (2006) and Everybody’s Fine (2009).
She had her breakout role in a film with Nicolas Cage
Sheen reflected on how grateful she was for having such great mentors for her debut blockbuster. “[Cage] really [showed] me the ropes and [taught] me how to be a normal person on set. So, that felt very lucky,” she told Screenrant.

She’s addressed her privilege – and takes her parents’ advice
Sheen is very close to her parents and joined her dad in an episode of British TV series Staged the same year she landed her breakout role. “Not a lot of people have parents that are understanding and have a respect for the arts,” she told People. “My parents are great about pushing me out and letting me fly and become the person that I want to be. To become the actor that I want to be.”
She’s an animal-lover
Sheen’s Instagram, which currently has nearly 150,000 fans, doesn’t give away too much about her personal life, but one thing’s for sure based what she posts – she loves animals. From rabbits and Pomeranians to ducklings and cats, Sheen clearly has a soft spot for pets – just like her mum.
She’s in a relationship with another actor
Despite her busy schedule, the New York-based starlet has found love. According to The Things, Sheen is currently dating David Schecter, a Jewish actor who’s done a lot of work in theatre.

So does Beckinsale approve? Apparently so, considering she once gave her daughter a pillow with her BF’s face on it for Christmas in 2019, per E! Online. The Pearl Harbour actress also posed for pics with her daughter’s beau at her 21st birthday party alongside celeb pals Laverne Cox, Rita Ora and director Taika Waititi.
