It’s not just Tiger’s mini-me who’s been making headlines though. The PGA Tour icon’s 16-year-old daughter Sam Alexis Woods joined her dad on stage last year to present him as a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame at the PGA Tour’s new headquarters, as reported in the New York Post.

Tiger Woods was married to Swedish model Elin Nordegren for six years before their widely publicised split in 2010, which occurred in the midst of allegations of Woods’ infidelity.

They had two children: Sam Alexis, born in 2007, just 24 hours after her dad was a runner-up in the US Open that year, according to Popsugar; and Charlie Axel, who was born in 2009 and is already showing signs of following in his father’s footsteps.

Tiger’s daughter did receive notable media attention when she delivered an emotional speech during her father’s induction into the World Golf Hall of Fame though. She spoke about his remarkable recovery from a near-fatal car crash in 2021.

“We didn’t know if you’d come home with two legs or not,” she said. “Now not only are you about to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, but you’re standing here on your own two feet. This is why you deserve this, because you’re a fighter.”

We all love a mini-me celeb – and Charlie is showing strong signs of becoming a sportsman like his dad. In 2020, Tiger and his son played in their first tournament together, according to People.

“I don’t think words can describe it,” Tiger told reporters, “Just the fact that we were able to have this experience together, Charlie and I, it’s memories for a lifetime.”

His dad, however, emphasises it’s up to Charlie what he decides to do with his future. “I’m proud of whatever direction he chooses, whether he sticks with the game or not,” he told PGA.

The father-son duo have been called the ultimate “mini-mes” due to their identical mannerisms and gestures, whether on the golf course or in everyday life.

According to People, the exes remain on good terms. Most recently, Woods dated Erica Herman from 2017 to 2023, until their public break-up this summer.

Per People, Herman filed a lawsuit against Woods, seeking to be released from a non-disclosure agreement she had signed in 2017. Amid other claims, in May, she said that she had also been tricked into leaving the billionaire’s home after Woods told her they were going on holiday in the Bahamas, according to the magazine report.

Meanwhile, Nordegren has been romantically linked to Jordan Cameron, a former American footballer, for about six years. Per British media, Nordegren, 43, has two other children with her 35-year-old beau.
