And his daughter is helping him show off his witty personality to the world. Earlier this month, Francesca Scorsese brought her dad in front of the camera to “guess the meaning” of different Gen Z slang for a TikTok video. The viral clip attracted plenty of fans to the platform and earned them the title of “TikTok’s Dynamic Duo” on The New York Times.

Francesca is the daughter of Martin Scorsese, 80, and his fifth and current wife Helen Morris, per People. Martin has been married to Morris since 1999 – the same year Francesca was born.
Martin also has one 47-year-old daughter Domenica Cameron-Scorsese with his ex Julia Cameron, and shares 57-year-old daughter Cathy with his first wife, Laraine Marie Brennan, per People.
She’s following in her dad’s footsteps
Per People, Francesca has long been fascinated with filmmaking and grew up with it thanks to her dad.
“I mean, I practically grew up on film sets. It was literally my life. And I thought that life was really like playing pretend all the time,” she said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
She graduated from NYU’s prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, where her dad is also an alum.

Fans can’t seem to get enough of the dad-daughter duo who have been making vids together since 2021, states People. And if their on-screen chemistry wasn’t obvious enough, these two are very close family members IRL too.
“He is the best teacher, guide, just overall mentor – and also, he’s literally my best friend. I tell him everything,” she previously told The Hollywood Reporter of her dad. How sweet!
