Christmas is just around the corner, and that can only mean one thing – it’s Mariah Carey season.

As usual, Carey is going all-out with her festive promotions – and her kids are joining in the fun again too.

Last month, the 54-year-old “Fantasy” singer collaborated with The Children’s Place clothing brand to post a series of photos featuring herself and her twins, Monroe and Moroccan Scott, looking absolutely adorable.

“They’re good, nice kids,” she told People in October. “They’re kind-hearted people, and I really enjoy being around them and watching them grow up into the people that they’re ultimately going to become.”

Let’s meet the doting mama’s 12-year-old kids – and find out what they’ve been up to of late:

Carey shares her two kids, Monroe and Moroccan, with ex-husband Nick Cannon. The former couple welcomed the twins on April 30, 2011. Although Carey and Cannon divorced in 2016, they continue to co-parent their children today.

“They’re a lot, but they give me so much love in return. I wouldn’t be the same person without them,” Carey told People in 2019. “I think Nick and I have done pretty well in co-parenting, staying friends with each other so that we can talk.”

Carey wanted both of their names to begin with “M”

In her 2020 memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey, the singer revealed that she wanted both of her kids to share the same initials.

Monroe was named after the late Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe, while Moroccan got his name from the Moroccan-themed decor in the penthouse of Carey’s New York apartment, where she and her ex-husband got engaged, according to People.

As the twins haven’t even hit their teenage years yet, they’re still relatively unknown to the public.

But of course, they seem to have inherited some of their parents’ talents.

Monroe may be following in her mum’s footsteps. “Miss Monroe has a really, really good ear for music and a really beautiful tone, but I can’t force her to sing, so if she wants to sing, she’ll sing,” Carey said back in 2016. Monroe has also been trying out modelling and starred in a 2021 campaign for OshKosh B’Gosh.

Moroccan, who also goes by his initials MC, appears to be quite the jokester. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, his dad Nick Cannon shared, “It’s the funniest thing, my kids call me a player. I was like, ‘Who taught you that word? Who’s been talking to you?’ And [Moroccan’s] like, ‘Dad you can’t be a player forever.’ I’m like, this is the worst.”
