Unlike many celeb couples who enjoy dishing out every detail about their romantic life to fans and the general public, Gosling and Mendes have chosen to keep their private time sacred.

“As far as Ryan, I’ll only post flashbacks of things that are already ‘out there’ [like pics from movies we did or stuff like that],” the 2 Fast 2 Furious actress told Instagram fans in 2020. “My man and kids are private. That’s important to me, so thanks for getting that.”
Besides her love life, Mendes has remained very low-key in general over the last few years, rarely making public appearances, let alone ones with her Hollywood hubby. In fact, their last “official” public outing together was over a decade ago for their The Place Beyond the Pines premiere in 2012, per Hello! And no, she wasn’t at her husband’s recent Barbie events either.
