- His only daughter Cori Broadus just shared on Instagram that she experienced a stroke despite being just 24 years old – the latest tragedy in a long physical and mental health journey
The world took a sharp inhale last week when Cori Broadus, Snoop Dogg’s youngest child, shared on her Instagram that she experienced a stroke – despite only being 24.

“I had a severe stroke this a.m. I started breaking down crying when they told me,” she wrote on the platform on Thursday. “Like I’m only 24, what did I do in my past to deserve all of this?”

It’s unclear what led to the stroke and how Broadus is recovering from the incident. However, the rapper’s daughter has previously opened up about her battles with lupus – an autoimmune disease she’s been diagnosed with since the age of six, reports People.

In an interview with the publication last year, Broadus spoke up about some of the challenges she has faced over the years and how she’s coped with her mental and physical well-being, and has previously opened up about a 2021 suicide attempt. “I stopped taking all of my medication like five months ago,” Broadus said at the time, “I’m just doing everything natural, all types of herbs, sea moss, teas.”

“I started working out, drinking lots of water,” she added. “So now I think my body’s like, OK, this is the new programme and she’s getting used to it.”
