Per British media, Räikkönen said, “We searched for a property where we could build our own house. Then we found Villa Butterfly, which was ready for move-in and had a name too.”

The origin of the name Villa Butterfly, however, remains a mystery.

Villa Butterfly is located in the picturesque town of Baar, Switzerland, linking the cities of Zürich and Lucerne. Baar, the second largest community in the Canton of Zug, is known as “the entrance to central Switzerland”. With a population of around 24,000, the area is surrounded by lush forests and the serene Lorze River.

True to his passion for fast cars, Räikkönen’s Swiss mansion features a spacious garage that caters to his automotive needs. The former F1 champion can house up to 10 cars at Villa Butterfly.

His collection reportedly includes a Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Badge and a Ferrari Enzo. He also owns a Lotus Evora S, Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and Ferrari 488, per Essentially Sports.
