Geri Halliwell-Horner’s husband, Christian Horner, is currently under investigation after a complaint of inappropriate behaviour was made against him, the BBC reports.
The allegations are said to have been made by a female member of staff, who reportedly claimed that Horner, the Red Bull F1 team’s principal, had an aggressive management style and exhibited “inappropriate controlling behaviour”, per The Guardian.
Fifty-year-old Horner told Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf that he “completely denies” the allegations.
Meanwhile, Red Bull said in a statement that it aims to get to the bottom of the claims: “After being made aware of certain recent allegations, the company launched an independent investigation.”
Fans of the sport-and-music power couple have been quick to defend Horner, claiming that he’s the victim of a wider internal dispute within Red Bull, per British media. While Halliwell has remained tight lipped about the situation since the news first broke, it’s believed that she’s “devastated” but will continue to support him, including at public appearances, also according to British media.
