According to the Today, Ferrera and the cast chose to keep her husband’s cameo a surprise until the film’s release. During the premiere, she shared a photo of them together with the caption “my favourite Ken”.

Like his famous wife, Ryan Piers Williams also works in Hollywood. According to his IMDB page, he is an actor and a director.

As an actor, he has starred in films including Blues, Tomorrow Comes Today, 1985 and Barbie. Behind the scenes, he’s worked on Muertas, Kilimanjaro and X/Y.

He made his directorial debut with The Dry Land (starring his wife), which premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, per his website.
