After years of staying out of the spotlight, Anna Abramovich has found herself back in the news, as the billionaire heiress was recently photographed sporting a giant rock on her engagement finger.

The daughter of Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich was seen flashing a dazzling diamond ring as she dropped by Harrods in London for a luxury shopping spree, according to British media. It’s unclear who the lucky man is, however.

This is the first time the 32-year-old has made headlines in ages, having previously been a magnet for UK media thanks to her extravagant lifestyle during her teenage years.

Anna Abramovich, 32, is the daughter of Roman Abramovich, the former governor of Chukotka and former owner of Chelsea football team, and his second wife, Irina Abramovich. Roman and Irina were married from 1991 to 2007, and they share five children together including Anna, per British media.

She had a lavish upbringing

It was widely reported by British media that Anna lived an OTT lifestyle as a youngster in London. The Standard reported that the teen would go to school in London via helicopter or chauffeured limo.

For her 16th birthday, The Times reported that she threw a party at a nightclub in London’s West End for 500 of her schoolmates and spent enough money to buy a “decent-sized house”.

Per the same source, the then-teen opted for an orange Dior couture dress for the bash.

She studied at Columbia University

Per British media, Anna went on to study philosophy at Columbia University in New York.

Anna used to make the news for her controversial love life. Per The Times, she was previously engaged to Moscow-born lawyer Nikolai Lazarev when she was just 18 years old – and he was 17.

She was then linked to well known British party boy Calum Best one year later, and raised eyebrows again when it was revealed that he was 12 years older than her. Best is the son of the legendary late footballer George Best, and he had previously dated Lindsay Lohan and Bianca Gascoigne, per British media.
