Bethenny Frankel is being asked to “make better decisions” by some of her Instagram followers after she shared a photo of a phallic dessert she bought with her 13-year-old daughter, Bryn, on a recent trip to Australia.

The former reality TV star and her teen daughter were exploring Melbourne when they stumbled upon the, erm, sparkling rainbow phallus-shaped dessert.

“To be able to turn a work trip into a mother daughter bonding trip and travel experience means I have worked to create a life that dreams are made of,” wrote the 53-year-old mum, “Exploring all that Melbourne has to offer and can’t wait to show you more of this adventure. We are so happy here! PS. The food scene here is incredible and let’s just say we got more than we bargained for …” she captioned the pic.

Unsurprisingly, some fans didn’t feel too comfortable with Frankel’s decision given how young her daughter is. The Real Housewives of New York City alum had previously been criticised for sharing photos of her daughter in a bikini while on holiday in the Turks and Caicos back in December, according to US media.

And while it’s ultimately up to Frankel to decide what she posts on her social media, others pointed out that her daughter Bryn is too young to make that decision herself yet, and her mum should allow her to enjoy some privacy in her early teens.

Frankel clapped back at the haters in a post shared a few days later with the caption: “This may feel aggressive and I do not believe in physical altercation but when it comes to protecting my daughter do not cross me.”

“Some people think it’s their business how I parent and how my daughter dresses,” Frankel said in the video shared on Instagram. “I have the most beautiful, thoughtful, caring, loving, spiritual, sensitive, darling, loving, smart human being for a child, and that takes work.”
