Nicole Kidman’s children may be shunning the spotlight, but the actress’ 26-year-old niece Lucia Hawley has been rubbing shoulders with Hollywood’s elite in recent months.

Working as an entertainment journalist, Hawley has been attending A-list events covering everything from fashion to film. She was most recently seen interviewing Jack Black at Kung Fu Panda 4’s Australian premiere in Sydney in mid March, per UK media.

Lucia Hawley was born in 1998 to her parents Antonia Kidman, the younger sister of Nicole Kidman, and Angus Hawley. According to Women’s Weekly, she is the eldest of six children, and graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2021.

News Australia reports that Hawley scored the gig of a lifetime as the new face of Live From E!, on the 7Bravo channel last February. “This is honestly like a dream come true. I always wanted to present and red carpets are naturally what I gravitate towards, so it came about pretty serendipitously,” she told The Daily Telegraph.

Hawley has been with her partner Henry Poole for four years, as noted in an Instagram caption she wrote in March. “4 years. I love u forever (and ever)” she wrote.

According to her interview on Now to Love, Hawley is refreshingly candid about her convenient connections, being the niece of one of Hollywood’s most famous faces. “I would never deny my privilege and I actually, totally hold my hand up and say ‘yeah I’m privileged, I come from a really privileged family and I’m so grateful for the opportunities that have come my way because of it’,” she told the publication, before adding, “The only thing I can do is work hard and make an individual name for myself and prove myself.”
