The Wall Street guru is thought to have been dating the 35-year-old dietitian for about two and a half years, and according to US media, is still embroiled in a bitter divorce with ex-wife Jenny Paulson.
Bloomberg was the first to announce the news, in an article interviewing Paulson where the writer refers to de Almeida as his “fiancée”. Last week, the newly engaged couple were seen at a lavish fundraiser for Donald Trump hosted by Paulson in Palm Beach, where they were pictured with the former US president and Melania Trump. Paulson has been described as a Trump “mega donor” by the Financial Times.

According to her Instagram bio, de Almeida is a registered clinical dietitian and founder of Effective Lifestyle. Her profile, which boasts 136,000 followers, is currently private, but her website showcases some of her recipes and some of the high-profile events she’s attended.
She went to Columbia University
As seen on her LinkedIn profile, de Almeida studied paediatric oncology and nutrition sciences at New York’s prestigious Colombia University from January 2011 to June 2012. She also has a qualification from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and volunteered as a nutrition assistant at Chilton Memorial Hospital from 2008 to 2010.
