Who are Jennifer Lopez’s supportive sisters, Lynda and Leslie Ann Lopez? Ben Affleck’s wife grew up with her siblings in the Bronx – they now work as a music teacher and Emmy-winning journalist

- J.Lo and Ben Affleck’s alleged marriage woes have dominated the tabloids, from news of them putting their mansion up for sale to pics of them looking distressed while in public
- Lopez appears to have been turning to her sisters for support: Leslie Ann is a music teacher who studied opera and musical theatre, while Lynda went on to become an Emmy-winning journalist
Media reports continue to suggest that J.Lo’s fourth marriage isn’t going so well, and it’s unlikely that the rumours are going to die down any time soon. Unsurprisingly, the duo seem to have been turning to their closest confidantes for support throughout their troubles.
One source recently told Entertainment Tonight that J.Lo has been leaning on her sisters lately. “Jen is touring houses and shopping around for her own home. She has been leaning on her mum, sisters and kids during this transitional period,” noted the source.
Here’s what we know about J.Lo’s sisters, who have stayed by her side through thick and thin:
Where did the Lopez sisters grow up?

According to People, Jennifer, Leslie and Lynda Lopez grew up in the Bronx in New York City, with their parents Lupe and David. In 2014, J.Lo talked about their upbringing while being honoured at Variety’s Power of Women gala for her Lopez Family Foundation.
“During that time, we started talking every day, sometimes staying up until the wee hours of the night discussing how having children would change our lives and what we were going to do,” Lopez said, per ET. “It was just like when we were kids, sharing a bedroom in the Bronx – sharing a bed in the Bronx with our other sister, all three of us! – talking about our hopes and dreams.”
