Lunden Roberts is breaking her silence following this week’s news of her baby daddy Hunter Biden’s conviction on federal gun charges.

Roberts is the mother of Biden’s five-year-old daughter, Navy Joan. Joe Biden was previously criticised for failing to publicly acknowledge Navy as one of his grandkids. The American president finally did so last year, notes USA Today.

“You have to respect the judicial system and also respect that all individuals are held accountable regardless of who they are and where they come from … but as the mother of Hunter’s child, my primary concern has always been the well-being of her and the future for her and his relationship,” Roberts told NewsNation on June 11, responding to Hunter’s conviction.

Roberts is also set to publish a memoir, Out of the Shadows: My Life Inside the Wild World of Hunter Biden, in August this year.

Hunter is currently married to his second wife, Melissa Cohen Biden, with whom he also shares a child. Hunter has three more kids, Naomi, Finnegan and Maisy, with his ex-wife, Kathleen Buhle.
