Comedy legend Eddie Murphy’s eldest daughter, Bria Murphy, who he shares with ex-wife Nicole Mitchell, just made a cameo in the fourth instalment of the Beverly Hills Cop film series.
Eddie was joined by his daughters Bria, 34, Shayne Audra Murphy, 29, and Bella Murphy, 22, alongside his fiancée Paige Butcher, at the world premiere of Netflix’s Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F last week.

Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, which comes almost four decades after the original, and three decades since the last film Beverly Hills Cop III (1994), stars Bria as a cop who arrests her dad’s character Axel Foley. In a different scene, Bria’s IRL husband, Michael Xavier, tases Eddie in the neck. Eddie revealed to Today that the scene was filmed just after the couple got married in 2022, which made the experience “surreal”.
This is Bria’s first acting project since 2019, per her IMDB. So, what has she been up to lately?
Bria Murphy has worked as a model

In her early twenties, Murphy worked as a model but wasn’t afraid to expose the dark side of the industry. She revealed in an interview with Good Morning America, “Lots of girls get addicted to drugs and anorexia … it’s a lot of pressure to be perfect.” She admitted to feeling this pressure herself, especially as she was small in frame, and the slightest change in weight was more obvious.

In a revelation on GMA in 2013, Murphy said that she heard models would dip cotton balls in orange juice and eat them to stay full. She added that the beauty industry’s unrealistic standards took a heavy emotional toll on models.
She’s also appeared in films and TV series
