- Christina Applegate’s daughter Sadie came onto her mum’s podcast recently to discuss her struggles with the symptoms of Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, known as POTS
- Heartbreakingly, the 13-year-old said the condition, which causes tremors and fainting, had helped her understand her mum’s MS better: the Friends and Dead to Me actress was diagnosed in 2021
Christina Applegate’s daughter Sadie LeNoble is opening up about her health struggles, after being diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, also known as POTS.
According to the NHS, POTs is a condition where your heart rate increases quickly after getting up from sitting or lying down, and includes symptoms such as dizziness and lightheadedness, fainting, and shortness of breath. It can be improved through lifestyle changes, though some may need medication, adds the source.
“When I stand up, I get really, really dizzy and like my legs get really weak and I feel like I’m going to pass out,” the 13-year-old explained on an episode of her mum’s MeSsy podcast on June 25. “And I have fainted before and I have gone unconscious, but that doesn’t usually happen.”

According to LeNoble, it has helped her empathise with her mother, who is struggling with her own health problems after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2021.
“I feel like if I didn’t have this thing, it would be a lot harder to understand what my mom’s going through,” she shared. “When my mom’s like, ‘Oh, I’m in pain right now. Oh, I’m having tremors.’ If I didn’t have this, I probably would be like, ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about.’ But I have tremors from POTS.”
Who are Sadie Grace LeNoble’s parents?

According to People magazine, Sadie Grace LeNoble was born to her parents Christina Applegate and musician Martyn LeNoble on January 27, 2011, in Los Angeles, California. Applegate talked to the outlet about how the birth of her daughter changed her life. “I felt my heart literally open up for the first time and like wrap itself around her,” she told the publication. “And I’m more in love with her every minute of the day.”
