Amber Rose just came out in support of Donald Trump following the attempt on his life at a rally in Pennsylvania, saying ‘the media lied to us’ about the former president

Rose, 40, is best known for appearing on reality TV shows RuPaul’s Drag Race, Dancing with the Stars and America’s Next Top Model, and previously dated Ye, Machine Gun Kelly and 21 Savage

Amber Rose has just proudly taken to the stage at the Republican National Convention to claim the media “lied to us” about Donald Trump, as reported by the Independent.

On Monday, the former girlfriend of Kanye West expressed her support for the Republican presidential nominee. Her declaration came just two days after Trump survived an assassination attempt at a rally in Pennsylvania.

“I’m here tonight to tell you, no matter your political background, that the best chance we have to give our babies a better life is to elect Donald Trump president of the United States,” she said in her speech. “I realised Donald Trump and his supporters don’t care if you’re Black, white, gay or straight. It’s all love,” she added. “And that’s when it hit me: These are my people. This is where I belong.”

A spokesperson from the Biden-Harris campaign has since clapped back at the model, per Independent.

“Amber Rose is right about one thing: research is important,” senior spokesperson Sarafina Chitika said in a statement, per the source. “Since we’re talking about facts, we brought receipts: Rose said American families were better off when Trump was president – and if she’s talking about his billionaire donors, she’s right.”

“But for Black communities, it’s the opposite story: Black unemployment, Black uninsured rates, and crime rates skyrocketed under Trump’s leadership, because the truth is simple – Donald Trump doesn’t care about us, our lives, or our livelihoods,” she added.
