Slipknot band member Sid Wilson has revealed that he was hospitalised after suffering “serious burns” following a bonfire explosion on his farm, as reported by People.
The 47-year-old musician, who is dating Kelly Osbourne, spoke in a series of videos shared on Instagram about his horrifying experience. “Hey everybody, I had an explosion in my face,” Wilson said on August 23. “I’m OK. I’m gonna be OK. But I did have some serious burns to my face and my arms.”
In the videos, he is seen wearing an oxygen tube while lying in a hospital bed. “You can see the phone shaking. That’s [because] I am holding it and I am shaking. They’re doing some extra X-rays to make sure I didn’t inhale any flames,” he added in the clips.
In another pic shared on his Instagram, he announced that he was “on [his] way home”.
“I’ll be in LA – this ain’t gonna stop me,” he explained, referring to the band’s upcoming shows, noted People.
