Kamala Harris has hired celebrity stylist Leslie Fremar to take care of her wardrobe, as reported by Puck. Per the source, Fremar has been tasked with creating a “low-key chic look that doesn’t scream elite” for the Democratic candidate for US president.

Fremar has a star-studded list of clients, and now she can add one of the world’s most important political figures to her ever-growing portfolio.

Leslie Fremar is a New York-based stylist

Fremar, who is represented by The Wall Group, is based in New York, according to her profile on the management company’s website. She was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, per multiple sources.

She worked as Anna Wintour’s assistant at Vogue

Fremar’s fashion journey began at Vogue. In a May 2015 interview with Into the Gloss, she said she interned at Harper’s Bazaar in the accessories department, before working at American Vogue as Anna Wintour’s assistant, a job she got “just by luck”. She added of the experience, “It took a lot of figuring it out and some sink-or-swim moments, but it was amazing.”
