Sister, Sister actress Tia Mowry got candid about her love life on the first episode of her new reality show Tia Mowry: My Next Act and her honesty has resonated with many fans. “Cory was my first everything,” she revealed, referring to her ex-husband Cory Hardrict, with whom she was in a 22-year relationship. The pair were married for 14 years and split in 2022, citing irreconcilable differences. They are now co-parenting their two children: son Cree, 13, and daughter Cairo, 6.
On her dating experience, the Tia & Tamera star said, “I wasn’t even allowed to date until I was 18 years old … I met Cory when I turned 20 and I lost my virginity at 25. There, I said it! And then we got married! Boom!”
Despite how their marriage turned out, there doesn’t appear to be any bad blood between the exes. Earlier this year, they crossed paths at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards and shared a viral – if awkward – hug.
