The Chicago native has amassed 97 actor credits since 1992. He is best known for his roles in TV sitcoms Bob’s Burgers and Arrested Development, and films like Men in Black II and Not Another Teen Movie.
What has Jay Johnston been up to lately?
Before his sentencing, Johnston had already seemingly stepped back from the acting world, with his last project being in 2022.
His lawyer, Stanley Woodward, wrote in a sentencing memo that the actor had “essentially been blacklisted by Hollywood” and “has worked as a handyman for the last two years – an obvious far cry from his actual expertise and livelihood in film and television”, per the BBC.
