Winters – who isn’t shy about sharing her transphobic, Islamophobic and antifeminist views online – went viral for her dubious fashion choices on her first day covering Donald Trump’s administration

Journalist Natalie Winters, 23, who serves as the White House correspondent for Steve Bannon’s War Room: Battleground podcast, has sparked controversy for her wardrobe choices. First, critics slammed the young media personality for showing up to her first White House press briefing in “overly provocative and unprofessional” attire, per the New York Post. Then, in response to a Daily Mail article covering the backlash, Winters released a barrage of posts on X. “Daily Mail, I would highly suggest you don’t go to war with me lol,” she wrote, adding, “I won’t be gaslit on personal aesthetics from people who celebrate obesity, trannies and grooming.”

Daily Mail columnist Lisa Kennedy then penned an op-ed about Winters titled: “You’re not a hostess at Hooters, you work at the White House!” Reacting in discussion with Bannon on the right-wing TV channel Real America’s Voice, Winters said, “It really reeks of jealousy and it’s just gross and I guess it’s women being women.”
