“The consequences for our country and the millions of our citizens who have supported the president – in particular low-income consumers who are already under a huge amount of economic stress – are going to be severely negative. This is not what we voted for,” he added. “Alternatively, we are heading for a self-induced, economic nuclear winter, and we should start hunkering down,” he said.

Oxman, 49, wears many hats. She is an Israeli-born architect, computational designer and artist who won the Cooper Hewitt Design Award for Interaction Design in 2018, per The New York Times. She’s also a former MIT professor whose work has reportedly caught the eye of Björk and Brad Pitt.

She has worked on over 150 scientific publications and inventions and her work has been included in the permanent collections of museums including the Museum of Modern Art, Centre Pompidou, MAK Museum of Applied Arts, FRAC Collection for Art and Architecture, and the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, to name a few. In 2016, she was named as a cultural leader by the World Economic Forum. She is the founder and CEO of Oxman, a company that invents “multi-scale products and environments through radical ways of thinking and making that flow across hardware, software, and wetware”, according to its website.

“She’s the most beautiful person I’ve ever met,” Ackman said of his wife on the Lex Fridman Podcast. “I mean that from the centre of her soul – she’s the most caring, warm, considerate, thoughtful person I’ve ever met.”

She coined the phrase “material ecology”
