Our leading ladies, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Hewitt, were said to be feuding when rumours suggested the latter got the Cruel Intentions star’s character axed. “I was 18. They were not taking script notes from me,” Hewitt later clarified, per the Hollywood Reporter.
However, the supposed beef resurfaced when, in an interview at the premiere of Gellar’s show Dexter: Original Sin, she was asked about Hewitt possibly reprising her role and she bluntly replied, “I have nothing to do with that.”
