Meet Link Lauren, aka ‘Maga Malfoy’: the blond TikTok influencer went viral for fawning over Trump’s press secretary Karoline Leavitt at a media briefing, and previously worked for RFK Jr

Maga influencer Link Lauren has become an internet sensation after attending the “influencer briefing” held by the White House on April 28. Thanks to his striking, bleached blond hair, the internet has christened him “Maga Malfoy” in reference to the famous Harry Potter character Draco Malfoy.

His bright, slicked-back hair aside, Lauren has also become the subject of internet trolls for fawning over press secretary Karoline Leavitt.

“You’re a very high-profile young mother who seems to juggle and balance it all beautifully. What advice do you have to young parents out there who are starting their careers, having kids, building families, and trying to find that balance so desperately?” Lauren asked Leavitt during a press briefing for Maga influencers – or what the Trump administration has dubbed the “new media”.

Users on X (formerly Twitter) had a field day, sharing clips of Lauren at the White House and writing comments such as, “This literally looks like an SNL skit.”

Born in 1999, Lauren grew up in Dallas, Texas. While not much is known about his private life, Lauren graduated from New York University in 2022 with a degree in music business and entertainment, per The Washington Post. It was during his years at university and during the Covid-19 pandemic that he began posting on TikTok, although at the time his content was focused on pop culture rather than politics.
