After two weeks of social media teasers hinting at a new project, Hilary Swank launched Mission Statement on October 18.
Swank joins a string of celebrities that have designed athleisure lines – including Heidi Klum, Selena Gomez, Kate Hudson, Carrie Underwood, Jessica Simpson, Beyoncé, Kanye West and Rihanna.
As the brand's name highlights, Swank's line intends to inspire and motivate. Giving her renowned #FitnessFridays on Instagram a commercial dimension, the Academy Award winner hopes to empower women who are experiencing challenges.
With a distinctly feminist edge, she claims that her brand encourages women to practice self-care and fulfil their potential.
