Burberry is taking over the Makers House in London’s hip Soho district again to show its latest “see-now-buy-now” collection at the upcoming London Fashion Week. Instead of last season’s collaboration with craftsmen, the brand channels the artistic spirit of legendary British sculptor Henry Moore.
“I have been fascinated by the great British sculptor Henry Moore for as long as I can remember – his work has always had a powerful influence on me,” says Christopher Bailey, the brand’s chief creative officer and CEO in a statement.

The show takes place on February 20 and all the looks from the collection will be available for purchase immediately. Burberry has also revealed two looks from the upcoming collection, available for pre-order now on Burberry.com, in stores and via the brand’s digital platforms including Facebook Messenger and WeChat.

Forty artworks by Moore will be on display at Makers House. The venue will be reopened after the show for public viewing from Feburary 21 to 27.

“Looking at, and thinking about, his work set up a series of conversations as we began working on our latest collection. The result is an incredibly enriching collaboration with his Foundation which has extended well beyond our show, and into an extraordinary exhibition of his work and process at Makers House,” Bailey says.

Burberry’s all-day Café Thomas’s will also return to Makers House as a pop-up during the week-long exhibition.
