Bottega Veneta launches exclusive collection featuring butterflies in pink hues
Leather bags and accessories by the Italian luxury brand embrace butterfly theme – perfect for spring
The butterfly has always been regarded as the epitome of femininity. Italian luxury fashion brand Bottega Veneta is transferring the classic motif into its latest bag design.
Exclusively available in selected stores in mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore, the special collection containing leather bags and accessories is adorned with various butterflies in a spectrum of pink hues. Designed by creative director Tomas Maier, the collection embraces the butterfly theme that was originally introduced in the maison’s collection in late 1970s.
Highlights include an exclusive version of Cabat in mallow nappa. Each bag is woven by hand from strips of double-faced leather and embellished with 58 butterflies on the signature intrecciato motif.
