Baz Luhrmann brings life to Erdem and H&M collaboration
Erdem will reinterpret the themes from some of his most celebrated collections, playing with prints, textiles and delicate craftsmanship
London-based designer Erdem Moralioglu, who is much loved by celebrities and fashionistas, is joining the H&M ranks of designer collaborations this year. Visionary filmmaker Baz Luhrmann will bring the collection to life through his unique storytelling. A teaser trailer has been released upon the collaboration’s announcement.
For the Erdem x H&M collaboration, the designer will reinterpret the themes from some of his most celebrated collections, playing with prints, textiles and delicate craftsmanship.
He will be designing a new collection for women, and, for the first time, a line for men.
For Erdem x H&M, he has created an enchanting world full of beauty, delicacy and rich details. "These are special pieces you will want to wear forever,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M’s creative advisor.
The collection will be available on November 2 at designated stores in 22 countries and on H&M’s website.
