Spanish luxury house Loewe has launched a new collection inspired by the work of 19th-century British poet, artist, and designer of patterns for wallpaper and textiles, William Morris.

The brand’s creative director, Jonathan Anderson, adapted four iconic Morris prints conceived between 1874 and 1883 as wallpaper and fabric designs, including Strawberry Thief, Forest, Acanthus and Honeysuckle.

Loewe transposed these striking original prints onto menswear and womenswear pieces, from jackets, jeans and dresses to accessories.

The collection, which will be available in November, highlights a black biker jacket printed with an enchanting fox motif extracted from Morris’ Forest print, and a playful orange calf leather tote with a black silk-screen print of a Morris chair.
