Singer’s specially written song – performed as duet with Diana Wang – forms part of company’s ‘Ways to Love La Mer’ campaign at Harbour City event

“The ocean inspires.” Who better than the Hawaiian-born Hong Kong singer-songwriter Khalil Fong to transmogrify the magic of the sea into a song?

La Mer, the prestigious skincare brand, is known for its moisturiser Crème de la Mer, the secret formula of which includes “Miracle Broth” – a cocktail inspired by the sea’s natural elements.

Crème de la Mer is one of the most luxurious moisturisers in the beauty realm.

This month, La Mer invited Fong to help promote its “Ways to Love La Mer” campaign, which continues to draw on the brand’s affinity with the ocean’s healing abilities.

Fong’s ode to the ocean – a duet with fellow singer Diana Wang written in collaboration with La Mer – made its debut at an event hosted by the brand in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui, last Friday.

With water as the focus, it was rather apt that it was raining during the event, which also featured Hong Kong celebrities and singers AGA and Janice Vidal.
