Young designers in the city created spring/summer 2019 collections inspired by the car brand, with proceeds going to the MINI Hong Kong Scholarship programme to nurture new talent

BMW Group’s MINI is one of the trendiest and most fashionable brands in the automotive industry – this year it took that image a step further by collaborating with three talented groups of up-and-coming local designers to create exclusive MINI spring/summer 2019 collections.

The designers were all past participants in the Hong Kong Young Fashion Designers Contest (YDC), held annually during Hong Kong Fashion Week.

These exclusive collections were inspired by the all-new MINI Hatch and the special MINI Countryman Black Edition.

The clothes, in limited quantities, were sold on Thursday night, with proceeds going to the MINI Hong Kong Scholarship, a programme which aims to support and nurture outstanding fashion design students.
