Christie’s will be host an accessory auction in Hong Kong on November 28, when 249 items including several rare Hermès handbags will go under the hammer.

Chief among them is the Hermès Himalaya Kelly handbag, regarded as one of the rarest handbags in the world.

Reminiscent of the snow-covered Himalayas, the matt white Himalaya Niloticus Crocodile Retourné Kelly 28 with palladium hardware is expected to attract a total price in the region of HK$600,000 to HK$800,000 (US$76,600 to US$102,000).

Also on show will also be a limited edition of Hermes multi-colour “one two three & away we go” Birkin 25 bag.

Crafted in swift leather and decorated with palladium hardware, the creation is made in collaboration with artist Nigel Peake.

An assortment of vintage products, art-inspired designs, as well as custom-made pieces from the French luxury equestrian house will also be unveiled during the auction.
